melichte is me, Marcia Lichte. I am a Christian wife and mother, and I have always toyed a lot with the idea of journaling. However, I have found over the years that I am simply NOT a journaler. What I do know about myself is that I am a computer geek – so finally the idea of electronically journaling my thoughts, life events, milestones and an occasional opinion seems to have caught on! I know it’s basically the same thing, just a different method – but it’s a method that just may work for me. We’ll see…
I just saw another blogger’s tagline and it said his blog is about “family, ministry and a bunch of randomness” and I guess that’s about what you can expect to get from me as well – I gotta stick with what I know.
Here’s a little about my family – I have a wonderful husband, Terry, two teenagers – Anna (18 and a Senior in HS) and Tim (16 and a Sophomore in HS), and two dogs – Gizmo and Chipotle. My Mom also lives with us. I’m sure you will see and hear a lot about them should you choose to follow me in this journey.
Oh, and here’s some stuff about my ministry – I am also Director of Women’s and Children’s Ministries at Taft Avenue Community Church in Orange, CA, and trying my best to implement and encourage Family Ministry concepts and approaches in all aspects of what I do.
